Lovely, all of them. I particularly like the top photo: it intrigues me as to what the plant/seeds are, as well as imagining what a delightful sound it must make in the breeze.
Thanks, glad you like these, Olga. Those are kale seeds or seed pods,…aren’t they unusual?
Goodness! That’s as delightfully unexpected as the rhubarb seeds I found last year.
Yes, I was surprised to learn that too! And rhubarb seeds?!!
I wonder whether the experience of watching paint peel is slower or faster than watching it dry. 🙂
Hehehe, Tom!
I believe it depends entirely upon the kind of paint one is watching dry.
You have a wonderful way of choosing photographic subjects that are endlessly fascinating and very, very calming.
I agree about the paint drying! And thanks for appreciating what I do, Susan.
An “in waiting” sort of series, all tied together with mellow light and sympathetic colors… before the riot of spring.
Marly, yes, it does seem all “in waiting”. I posted these more than a month after taking them. Meanwhile that riot of spring has been going on for ages, a month early here, with so many colours of spring blooms following one upon the other and still going. It’s the best season here!
And we had snow repeatedly yesterday, and I woke to new snow today! WAH.
Oh dear! And right this minute, a hailstorm here! After a spell of splendid summery days, we’ve had cold and very rainy ones – April showers!!
It’s the fault of T. S. Eliot. All that “April is the cruelest month” business.
Blame T.S. Eliot, eh. I think he lived where April can be difficult. Not so much here except for too much rain sometimes. Spring is always earlier here than in the east so we cannot really complain. The tulips are finishing, the Spanish bluebells, lily of the valley and lilacs are out now, along with many rhododendrons.
