He’s right in his wish that Canada return to the ideals of ecological balance and humane treatment for all. Such idealism isn’t the least bit radical in my opinion.
I hope you’ve enjoyed a good holiday. The fireworks have been over around here for a while now, but I’m sure you’ll be hearing some soon.

I love currants. It’s way too hot for them here.
It seems as if Canada is at the crossroads on the issues of human rights and the environment.
Yes, currants grow in colder climates. Everyone I know with a garden in Finland has red and black currant bushes. I love the black best but that bush did not do as well for me. Then one summer a bear damaged it badly and it has not recovered.
Our current government has taken us back into the dark ages. We have to get rid of it in 2015!
