Bedecked ruts and holes: very pleasing! Looks like such pleasant wandering.
They could be part of a strange alien landscape. It’s amazing that lichen can be so differently colored.

Susan, sort of like a moonscape, I think. Do you remembber my series on the Beaty Biodiversity Museum? The Herbarium there has 40,000 lichens – imagine all that diversity and colours!
Who needs sculpture?
Joe, yes, and what gallery or museum can beat this setting for showing off these amazing creations? Makes one feel small.
Wow! Some day I hope to see these wonders with my own eyes. You inspire me to do some rock photos of my own. Though not with your talent or your camera, I hasten to say!
