Bedecked ruts and holes: very pleasing! Looks like such pleasant wandering.
They could be part of a strange alien landscape. It’s amazing that lichen can be so differently colored.

Susan, sort of like a moonscape, I think. Do you remembber my series on the Beaty Biodiversity Museum? The Herbarium there has 40,000 lichens – imagine all that diversity and colours!
