There is a strong hint of the divine in the proportions of an ammonite. Held in your hand this way that effect is magnified.

Oh, thank you, Susan! How wonderful to imagine the divine in this amazing little thing. I’m a little disappointed that these prints look a bit washed out and flat on the screen, having been compressed for the web. I wish you could see the real thing.
The weather has been lovely and sunny for a several days, though with frost at night. This morning we woke to light snowfall – pretty but slippery with the frozen ground beneath. Looks like we should get more sunshine ahead. How about where you are?
