gallery update
Head Study III (1989) – monotype on Arches Cover paper, 34 x 28 cm. (13″ x 11″)
I am thrilled to announce that my gallery aka website is at last updated and online!
Longtime readers may recall that this blog was transferred from the Movable Type platform to WordPress back in the fall of 2013. Meanwhile my Gallery sat dormant as I did not wish to continue adding more images of my work as it too would be switched. At last my super designer daughter Erika found some time from her own business to custom design my site within WordPress. Still based on the previous ‘look’ which I liked so much, this is easier for me to use. Also, it is now viewable on today’s popular smaller devices. Thanks, Erika!
More printworks, especially some of my older pieces, will continue to appear on the site as I slowly go through my files, so please do visit from time to time by going to the Gallery link on the left top of this page. Of course many of you readers may have seen most of my work on the blog under Printworks, though the images are very small compared to my now larger images. The blog has notes about processes and the ideas behind certain works which may still be of interest.

Excellent! You’ve waited a long time for this transfer. I’ve just scanned through several pages of your new gallery and like what I see very much. The Silent Messengers was a very interesting series and you know I’ve always loved the ‘Hands’.
I’m so glad you like the site, Susan, and I know that you are familiar with some of my work. It’s been a lot of effort to organize, colour-correct, resize and upload the images, along with titles, dates, sizes, paper types. Still more to do from 40 years of work though I’m not including everything. The early ones were all taken as slides, and some pieces were never even documented. It’s good though that I’m updating my records as much as possible, something all of us artists should be doing, don’t you think?
Hurrah! I have enjoyed spending some time savouring some of your series. It is good to have them back to visit again, and again.
I am hoping that my own in-house website designer might have time this year perhaps to update my own gallery.
Your long-time loyalty and support is much appreciated, Olga, and I’m pleased that you enjoyed the visits with my work. Fingers crossed for an update to your gallery!
Nice! You just made it for the holidays, I can steal a bit time off and on from granddaughters who are just coming like a thundering herd soon and look at the pictures in your very fine gallery. A piece of salmon is cooking in the oven. We’ll see what the girls are willing to eat – or their dad.
I think I see what they think of your art. They already know their grandpa’s art, so they should definitely be widening their view.
I’m glad that you like the site and will have some time to look through it, and with your granddaughters. I hope they will like some of my work. I have not finished putting up all of it, just had to give my eyes and brain a rest for a few days.
How wonderful that your family is there for Good Friday. Hauskaa Pääsiäistä, Happy Easter to you and yours.
Gorgeous! I love the site design – nice and simple to show off your beautiful work, and easy to get around in. Plus I like that the images are larger sized – not as good as seeing in person, but at least a lot easier to see!
Leslee, thanks for your kind words, I’m glad the design pleases…and lovely to have you visit!
This is inspiring. Congratulations!
Thanks, Hattie!
The website is terrific, so good to see your collections displayed like that, really conveys their strength and coherence. Bravo!
Thanks so much, Lucy! Still working on it so please visit it again sometime.
