footprints in frost
These have made me recall some footprints in the sand from some years ago….

It looks like my kitchen floor, after making the bread…. I am a mucky pup.
These are evocative. The dry wood texture, the slipperiness. You have such a good eye.
Julie, yes, I can see that this looks also like flour, heh.
Hattie, glad you like these!
Nice textures and I’m happy not to see skid marks.
Susan, yeah, I was being cautious when I stepped out there. Do you notice how some of the footprints are melted and some not? I wore my house shoes out there and the first steps melted the frost until the soles cooled down – neat, eh?
Great idea. Footsteps are always intriguing.Somebody didn’t wipe his feet!
Joe, glad you like them and yes, I find them intriguing too, including the different patterns made by the soles.
I worry about your sense of direction, given the first pic. Also fascinating is the suggestion that after wombling somewhat you eventually took off into the ether. Why don’t you blog about your very special talents, M-L?
BB, my first chuckle of the day, thanks! Oh, now my secret is out – I was floating (wombling?) off the deck in excitement for a few moments as I was photographing the frost on the railing. As I came back inside, I noticed my footprints, went to get the other camera, and returned outside to take these shots, making a few more tracks in the process. The detective in you get a little excited?
🙂 We used to get little doggie prints on my deck in winter back at my condo.
Leslee, the doggie prints may have made some great photos too!
