This is a quick wave to say we are happily busy with visitors from Europe for ten days. Husband’s cousin and his wife arrived on Monday and it’s been non-stop sightseeing, eating, talking and laughing. Will be back with photos and maybe a story or two when all is quiet here.

Thanks all, we are indeed having a wonderful time. After a brief rest, we are heading out for dinner at a new-to-us restaurant.

Anyway: I tell you, in case you haven’t noticed, that a good Finnish theatre group is coming in near future to visit that island there (Malcolm, was it?) with the story of Sointula. They’re supposed to meet the original Sointula people there at the same time as there are performances.

Thanks, Hattie, Marly, Ripsa, Rouchswalwe! I am sorry to be late with my response. We have been traveling together and returned home just last night. Moments ago I have said an almost-tearful goodbye to our visitors and must now unpack, take care of the garden, do laundry and more.
I will post about our trip soon! Yes, Ripsa, I know of the Finnish group and will have much to write about that too!

Marly, yes, that kick after… why is that? Too much excitement, too little sleep on strange beds? The cold bug isn’t finished with me yet.
