Yes, from Edgar Allan Poe’s longer poem, The Raven. The narrator in the poem is stared at by a raven that appears on a dreary night; the narrator, who sounds clinically depressed, muses desperately on the dark meaning of the bird’s appearance. The raven responds periodically, with the words, “Nevermore!”
