What wonderful, vivid lichen, just like a pigment

Lovely coloured lichen. In the Lakes last week I noticed a lichen so vivid that I had to go really close up to the tree trunk to make sure someone hadn’t painted it with orange paint.
Mr ZIp, I did the same with this lichen. Isn’t nature an amazing artist?
