Beaty Biodiversity Museum – 5
More from Vancouver’s Beaty Biodiversity Museum. This particular section of big cases of gorgeous animals such as the crocodile, the African buffalo in the middle, and, sorry I can’t read the label, another handsome African big curly-horned creature, made me think rather irreverently of big-game trophies. And of one of my favourite movies, “Out of Africa”.

That crocodile has a weird affect! Although something silly popped into my head: being in an antique store and coming on a purse made out of an armadillo, its feet sticking outward.
Marly, yes, except my thoughts went to crocodile leather bags, belts and shoes – minus any feet sticking out, heh!
“Out of Africa” such beautiful cinematography. I wish I could see it someday on the big screen instead of trying to scale up its beauty from the small screen.
Anil, yes, this is one of those films meant to be seen on the big screen, though I do enjoy revisiting it on our home TV. The computer monitor, I think, is too small for this.
