all hallow’s
A little bit of spookiness created just for you, dear readers, to put you in the mood for Samhain, All Hallow’s or Halloween, All Saints Day, Day of the Dead, Kekri or whatever you celebrate this weekend!
If this Pineapple Express we are having right now keeps up for tomorrow evening, the little trick-or-treaters may be washed away!

Wet here, too. The leaves are plastered everywhere. The little spookers will no doubt be wanting hot cocoa by the quart. Happy Halloween, Marja-Leena!
Love that photo!
Looking at the Wikipedia entry. I’ll never forget the ’52 storm that blew roofs off and sent houses sliding down slopes. I was living on the Coastside south of SF at the time. It rained and rained all Christmas vacation.
And the recent Oregon one: They are still cleaning up after it!
Anyway, hope it’s not too drastic.
The humidity here has been at times unbearable. We are in the eye of the pineapple, so to speak.
Anyway, Happy Halloween!
Great picture. It’s pretty much a wash out here for trick and treating. It was a cloudy damp day with on and off rain.
Thanks, all! I hope your Halloweens were fun!
I enjoyed playing around with this photo my husband took in Stonehenge last spring… magically turning daylight into moonlit.
The rainstorm wore itself out last night and this morning we were very surprised by sunshine! A very warm and lovely day. This evening there’s a brilliant moon and it’s a calm night except for the sound of fireworks popping here and there! Certainly nicer than a dark and stormy night, like some you mentioned Hattie!
