a quick wave
just a few beach scenes from the west side of Vancouver Island where we spent a few glorious days. Poor internet connection there.
Now we are in the Victoria area visiting family, and with a good connection I am able to send a quick wave and hello, dear readers! Lots of photos to come when we get home and I can use my own computer.

Oh how luscious that first photo – I want to feel my feet on those wet sand ridges. Alas, months to go here before I can do that! Glad you’re enjoying the wilds of Vancouver Island. I look forward to your photographic finds.
Leslee, some young people and kids and dogs did splash about in the puddles and the waves. Too cold for me though we had gorgeous and warm sunny days, and only some rain at night. Oddly I seem to have chosen photos taken during cloudy periods. Will have sunny ones to come!
Continue to have fun. Here’s to waving back!
Thanks, Tom, and you too!
Oooh! – to be by the sea. Scrummy greys and patterns and views.
Yes, this place is a much-loved and favourite place of ours. It’s been five years since we’ve been -where has the time gone. We celebrated husband’s big 0 birthday.
Yes, that first one truly is spectacular. I love the miles of flat sand beaches to be found on the west coast. Unfortunately circumstances here have kept us away from the ocean park for over a month. Walking around city streets isn’t the same thing at all – and most of them aren’t walkable either.
I’m sorry to hear that, Susan. All you have to do is hop on a plane to Victoria and drive about 4.5 hours and you will be there! It is spring out here.
Love the combed heavy sand with the reflection overlaid and then interrupted…
I love it too, Marly, and every time we visit I take the same photos!
I love those walking beaches, too. Now I’m feeling homesick for the Northwest.
Me too! We just got home from Victoria and my garden is blooming so much more since we left 9 days ago.
